This breakdown was extremely painful for me. Suddenly I no longer saw the world from the perspective of a performer, but from the perspective of someone lying on the ground. I didn't know what was happening to me, but deep down I knew: I needed comfort.

So I sat down at my piano and composed new pieces that I still enjoy playing to this day. They remind me that life can be crazy but it’s still beautiful!”
